Arguing isn't the problem. The problem is not knowing how to do it well. For years, we've been taught that arguing is something to be avoided, silenced, and resolved quickly; arguments must be CALMED, when in fact they should be REGULATED. Yet, every significant relationship—in the family, at school, between children and adults—inevitably involves conflict. This meeting proposes a radical shift in perspective: conflict not as a rupture to be feared, but as a valuable educational opportunity. A growth laboratory, where we learn to interact without ignoring ourselves or overwhelming the other. So the question is no longer "How can we avoid arguing?", but rather: "How can we teach our children to argue well?" without shying away from confrontation and adequately addressing their needs. Once booked, the meeting is non-refundable. To access the room, you can park at the Coop parking lot in Uggiate and reach the facility a little further on. A certificate of attendance and handout are provided for professionals.
